Star Wars Episode VII: A New Lucasfilm

As many know, as of now, Disney now owns Lucasfilm Ltd.

Many fans are debating whether this is a good or bad thing, but I see it as a good thing, since
Disney has done wonders with Marvel movies since the buyout in 2009 with movies such as Iron Man, Thor,Captain America, and most of all my favorite....The Avengers.

Did Disney mess this franchise up?

What bothers me the most however...is what people predict the next movie will be about.

Unlike most other people, that are fans, but have only watched the movies, some other fans follow the extended universe as well. Some other's say that, "Oh it'll be great to see a old Yoda-like Mark Hamill, and old Harrison ford."

What bothers me about this however, is that some people don't even consider the extended universe lore, and think that the New-and-improved Lucasfilm, will just come up with some other TRILOGY within the Star Wars universe "canon".

What I think personally though, is that they won't just poof up some new story-line, where tons of story has already be established, as  there is The Thrawn Crisis, The Bacta War of Isard, Operation Shadow Hand, Black Fleet Crisis, Corellian Insurection, etc...

Is Disney a "New Hope"?

There's so much material out there already, but still I feel that if more people were informed, they'd know that the material Disney/Lucasfilm has to work with is limited, and they can't  just spawn "Adventures of Jar-jar: Attack of the Gungans" or anything like that, and I feel sure that they'll be able to pull off another hit, even BETTER than The Avengers.

Even better than the Avengers?

All I'm trying to say is, if a few more people looked into it, they would see that Disney can't just screw up the Star Wars universe and its canon, and that this really does look like a New Hope.
